These terms of service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Ströhm & Bauer website, invitation services, and any purchase made directly from Ströhm & Bauer Ltd. (“Ströhm & Bauer”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using the website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

Website use.

You may use this website for lawful, personal purposes. You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or reproduce substantial parts of the site without permission, or use the site in a way that infringes the rights of Ströhm & Bauer or any other person.

We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, product changes or business reasons.

Invitations and private releases.

Requesting an invitation expresses interest in a private release. It does not reserve a watch, guarantee availability, create an obligation to purchase, or require us to accept a future order.

Invitation pricing, access windows and availability may be limited by quantity or time. Any price shown in an invitation remains subject to the product being available and to the terms presented at checkout.

Products and availability.

We make reasonable efforts to describe our watches, materials, dimensions, finishes, presentation items and other products accurately. Because screens, lighting, production tolerances and natural materials vary, minor differences in colour, texture or finish may occur.

Limited-edition numbering, packaging and included presentation items are subject to the description shown for the relevant release. Availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted by us.

Prices and payment.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery charges, taxes, duties or import charges may be added or payable separately depending on destination.

Payment is processed through third-party payment providers. We may correct an obvious pricing or technical error before accepting an order. If an order cannot be fulfilled after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for that order.

Orders and acceptance.

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including because an item is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, we identify an obvious error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the relevant amount.

Delivery.

Estimated dispatch and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees unless we expressly agree otherwise. Delivery times may be affected by carriers, customs, local authorities, weather, security checks or other matters outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. International customers may be responsible for local customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or similar charges imposed by the destination country.

Returns, cancellations and statutory rights.

Any return or cancellation rights offered by Ströhm & Bauer will be stated at the point of purchase or in the applicable returns policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Personalised, engraved, altered or otherwise bespoke products may be subject to different cancellation or return rules where permitted by law. Any such restriction will be made clear before purchase.

Warranty and care.

Where a product is sold with a Ströhm & Bauer warranty, the warranty period and scope will be stated with the product or accompanying documentation. Warranty coverage is additional to any non-excludable statutory rights you may have.

Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised repair, cosmetic ageing, straps and other consumable components may be excluded from warranty coverage where stated in the applicable warranty terms.

Intellectual property.

The Ströhm & Bauer name, house marks, product names, photographs, films, graphics, copy, layouts, designs and other content appearing on this website are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

No content may be reproduced, republished, commercially exploited or used to suggest affiliation with Ströhm & Bauer without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party services and links.

The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors, delivery providers, analytics services, social platforms or external websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Our responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control, or business losses arising from a consumer's use of the website or products.

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free from security vulnerabilities.
